User Management Guide

Manage platform dashboard users, distinct from directory users synced from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.

Prerequisites

Admin role required for user management.

Directory users are synced from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and appear under Users. Platform users are people you grant dashboard access to via Settings → User Management.

Adding Users from Directory

Go to Settings → User Management

From dashboard sidebar → SettingsUser Management.

View Existing Users

You'll see the list of already added / synced users on the platform.

Add New User
Action

Click Add New User button.

Select from Tenant List

A list of available users from your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant appears.

Choose Role & Add
  • Select user(s) from the list
  • Choose role from dropdown: Admin / Manager / Editor / Viewer
  • Click Add or Confirm

Principle

Use the lowest necessary role. Admin role should be assigned sparingly.

Updating Role & Deleting Users

Locate User

In User Management list → find the user (search/filter available).

Update Role Only
  • Click user or Edit
  • Change role via dropdown
  • Save → role updated instantly

Only role can be changed, no name, email, or other fields editable.

Delete User
Action

Click Delete → confirm.
User removed from platform (may remain in directory sync list).

Best Practices

Onboarding & Addition

  • Always use directory sync (Azure/Google)
  • Verify user before adding
  • Inform users about welcome email
  • Document role assignments

Security & Maintenance

  • Review roles quarterly
  • Delete/deactivate immediately on exit
  • Restrict Admin role strictly
  • Monitor user activity logs
